A CRC client story: Maria received housing assistance, food and resources that helped her move from homelessness to stability.

Daniel visits our client-choice pantry to choose nourishing food for himself, his two foster children and his aging mother. For Daniel, who lives with a disability after surviving an assault, CRC has become a lifeline.

Gabriela arrived at CRC’s emergency shelter with her 7-year-old daughter, Maribel, finding safety and a new beginning for her family.

After tragically losing her eldest son, Sam became trapped in an abusive relationship. Sam left everything behind and spent a year unsheltered for the first time in her life.

Sophia shares, "The food and nutrition center is very helpful to be able to put food on our table, especially with the food prices going up so high. We care for two children we’re fostering, a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old with medical complexities. And my sister-in-law lives with us with her two kids, ages 13 and 8. What may seem like a small donation makes a huge difference to us being low income. Even the diapers have helped a lot. I’m very thankful for it."

After experiencing homelessness for four years, mostly living out of his car, Greg reached out to CRC for support in finding stable housing.

The moment Amina and her children stepped into their new home was unforgettable. "Amina was crying tears of joy," shared CRC's Program Manager.
