No one should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from, especially seniors.

August is National “Make a Will” Month, a reminder of the importance of having an estate plan in place.

The incredible team from Hope for San Diego made a big impact at our Food Pantry and Encinitas Store during their July day of service. Volunteers of all ages worked hard to deep clean and organize our facilities. They brought lots of hard work, fun and enthusiasm to the job!

CRC has been partnering with the San Marcos Unified school district Workability program since 2009 (15 years) to help young individuals with the tools they need to succeed in the workplace.

Paula’s journey to healing began when she joined a support group for survivors of domestic violence at CRC. Through the support and guidance she received, Paula started to address her past trauma and take steps toward recovery.

Samantha, a resilient single mother of three, is navigating the challenges of inflation and the higher costs of food. Once facing homelessness, Donna, a senior with a brain condition and disability, found hope and a new start at Community Resource Center. Her journey began after experiencing traumatic abuse in another state, which led her to California, where she experienced a series of short-term stays, moving from motels to safe parking programs.
