Domestic Violence Program

At 78 years old, Sylvia came to CRC seeking support after experiencing abuse and instability. With advocacy, housing support and other services, she began building a safer, more stable future and shared that she now feels “more hopeful, more secure, and brighter about the future.”

Amelia escaped domestic abuse, leaving everything behind to cross the state to safety. CRC became her steady source of support.

Katrina took courageous steps toward safety and stability. With housing assistance and supportive connections, she secured a home and started rebuilding for her children.

Gabriela arrived at CRC’s emergency shelter with her 7-year-old daughter, Maribel, finding safety and a new beginning for her family.

CRC bilingual therapist Monica Ditta shares more about her child therapy work.

Liliana’s journey is one of extraordinary courage. Fleeing domestic abuse to a new country with her two young children, 9‑year‑old Lorenzo and 5‑year‑old Leonel, Liliana was determined to create a better life for her family.

On Wednesday, February 12, nearly 60 teens from local schools gathered at One Safe Place San Marcos for CRC's Teens for Healthy Relationships Conference, an annual event dedicated to promoting healthy relationships and raising awareness about dating abuse.

At 68, Camila never expected to start over. But she was living in an abusive situation and made the courageous decision to leave.

Sheila and her two-year-old daughter, Lisa, found refuge with CRC after fleeing a dangerous situation of domestic violence.

Exposure Skate raised funds for Community Resource Center's domestic violence shelter and programs.
