Festive holiday gathering will support CRC programs helping local neighbors access healthy food, stable homes and safe relationships.
ENCINITAS, Calif. — October 19, 2026 —Community Resource Center (CRC®) will host its 10th Annual Jingle & Mingle on Thursday, December 3, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach. The festive fundraiser brings together CRC supporters and community members for an evening of celebration, connection and giving in support of local neighbors.
Jingle & Mingle has its roots in CRC’s longtime Holiday Baskets program, now in its 44th year. What began as “Holiday Baskets Eve,” a fundraiser created to support seasonal assistance for local families, has grown into one of CRC’s signature fundraising events, helping sustain programs and services throughout the year.
Guests will enjoy an evening of holiday cheer, connection and community, with live and silent auctions, engaging activities and a heartfelt program featuring stories from a CRC client and a volunteer, along with remarks from CRC CEO John Van Cleef.
“Jingle & Mingle is a chance to come together during our Season of Hope and celebrate what’s possible when a community cares for its neighbors,” said Van Cleef. “The generosity shared that evening helps CRC walk alongside individuals and families throughout the year as they work toward greater safety, stability and hope.”
Funds raised through Jingle & Mingle support CRC’s year-round programs and services, including food and nutrition assistance, housing support, domestic violence emergency shelter and services, counseling, case management and other resources. The event also continues its longstanding support for CRC’s Holiday Baskets program, which provides seasonal support to local families, seniors and neighbors.
In 2025, CRC impacted more than 9,500 people across the community, distributed more than 770,000 pounds of food, helped 325 individuals secure stable housing, and supported survivors of domestic violence through emergency shelter, counseling, case management and other critical services.
