CRC Jingle & Mingle 2025 Fundraiser: A Joyful Night of Community and Compassion

CRC hosted our annual Jingle & Mingle holiday fundraiser on Thursday, December 4, at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club, bringing together more than 140 supporters, volunteers and staff to raise critical funds for programs that provide food, shelter, safety and hope for North County neighbors in need. The evening featured remarks from CEO John Van Cleef, emcees Anna Couvrette and Maddie Altschuler, and a powerful testimonial from a CRC client. Guests enjoyed delicious food, drinks, fun games, and exciting prizes, all while making a meaningful impact.

We are so grateful for your generosity and compassion in bringing hope to our neighbors.

Watch this short recap video with highlights from the evening and a message of gratitude:

An inspiring moment during the evening came from Padma, our CRC client speaker, who shared her journey of healing from domestic violence:

CRC fills a huge void. For women like me with a history of domestic violence trauma, and for our children, it’s so important to have programs, support groups and shelters to help us in the critical initial stages … and later as you begin to mend. It’s really important for me to show other women going through this that there is light at the end of the tunnel… You can rebuild your life and be a stronger, calmer, confident and grounded whole new woman. I’m proof of that too. Now, eight years later, I stand before you, embracing joy.

Padma’s story is a powerful reminder of why we gathered on Thursday – to create brighter futures for those seeking support and healing.

We couldn’t do this without the help of so many who contributed to the event …

  • Our emcees, Maddie Altschuler and Anna Couvrette, for leading the evening with grace and enthusiasm, our CEO John Van Cleef for his inspiring remarks and steadfast leadership and our client speaker Padma for courageously sharing her story of hope and healing.
  • CRC’s annual partners, with special recognition of our Transforming Level Partner, AutoNation Subaru Carlsbad and our Empowering Level Partner, Ranch & Coast Magazine.
  • The donors and businesses who contributed to the evening’s success: Carla Anderson, Adrian Arango, Blenders Eyewear, Cafe Coyote, CRC Resale Store, Katrina Dodson, EōS Fitness, Karen Larson, Lazy Acres, Lomas Santa Fe Country Club, Laurie Mika, Debbie Murray, Pacific Coast Grill, Ramona Ranch Winery, Rancho Coyote Vineyards, Sammy’s and Toasted Gastrobrunch, Starbucks, Sun Bum, Verona Endrizzi, Vigilucci’s, Warby Parker Optical.

  • Rob Robinson, our music master, who kept the energy high and spirits bright!
  • Our event volunteers, from the welcome crew at registration, to the set-up and décor team, raffle sellers, and those who helped pack everything up. We appreciate their enthusiasm and commitment!

We are very grateful to the evening’s matching gift donors, which amplified the impact of the evening’s contributions. Their generosity ensures we can provide vital resources for our neighbors in need.

Thank you once again for your incredible support. Your generosity allows us to continue providing food, shelter, safety, and hope to those who need it most. If you didn’t have a chance to make a contribution, you can still make a gift of support here.

Wishing you a holiday season filled with joy!
