Congratulations to Sara Rosenbaum, our incredible Volunteer Manager!

This month, Sara Rosenbaum, Community Resource Center’s Volunteer Manager, was awarded the Encinitas Rotary Club 2024 Peacemaker Award. This annual award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to promoting peace and understanding in our community.

Sara’s dedication to fostering empathy, resolving conflicts, and promoting inclusivity is truly inspiring. Thank you, Sara, for making a significant impact and representing CRC so well in our community!

Residing in Encinitas with her husband Ryan and their three sons, Rosenbaum has dedicated over six years to CRC. CRC Chief Philanthropy Officer Debbie Murray shares, “I am a firsthand witness to Sara’s community work in promoting peace. As volunteer manager, she builds peace by bringing together diverse community members. Sara encourages cooperation on projects, handles conflicts, works to remove tension and cultural misunderstandings between communities, and conducts outreach to groups to educate and involve them in CRC’s mission, all with grace and inclusivity.“

In her own words, Sara shares:

“Encouraging a culture of empathy, understanding, and mutual respect between people is crucial to my role at CRC. Healthy working relationships promote a robust volunteer team, and breaking down stigmas can mean even more compassionate care for our clients. I feel lucky to be part of the CRC team.”
