Congratulations to CRC’s Volunteer of the Month, Kathy Ling!
Kathy is a treasured member of our volunteer team, supporting multiple program areas across CRC. She supports our events staff, co-leads our Holiday Baskets distribution day operations, and volunteers at our Encinitas resale store.
Kathy is being recognized this month for the expertise and care she brings to the resale store, particularly in identifying, selecting and pricing high-end donations. Her ability to spot special items and make sure they are showcased for shoppers helps generate sales that support CRC’s programs.
Her talents have also played an important role in our special events. As Chief Philanthropy Officer Debbie Murray shared, “Kathy has been instrumental in the success of our new Sip, Shop and Support events at the Encinitas resale store. She has a keen eye for what will appeal to customers, setting aside curated items well in advance of the event so the store is chock-full with ‘treasures’ for event attendees to discover. It’s not easy sorting through so many donated items, and we appreciate all that Kathy does to make our events successful.”
