Donate Items or Host a Drive

Help change lives for the better and create opportunity in our community!

Thank you to the many people who donate items to support CRC. We gratefully accept:

  • Food and personal care items for our Food & Nutrition Center
  • New or gently-used items for our Resale Stores
  • Household and personal care items for families in our domestic violence shelter
  • Office supplies to help keep our operations costs low

Wish Lists

Food & Nutrition Items: 

We strive to provide the healthiest, most nutritious foods possible- help us towards this goal by skipping the “Top Ramen,” cookies, cakes and foods that are high in sugar when you are selecting items for your food drive!

Biggest Needs:

  • Dried Fruits & Nuts
  • Oatmeal
  • Canned Meat/Fish
  • Canned carrots
  • Canned green beans
  • Bagged pinto or black beans
  • Lentils

Additional Items:

  • Condiments (Salad Dressings, Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Vinegar etc.)
  • Evaporated/Condensed Milk
  • Hearty Canned Soups, Chili and Stews
  • Snacks (granola bars, chips, jerky)
  • Oil (24 oz or smaller)
  • Umbrellas and ponchos (for those waiting for food)
  • Full-size cleaning products including bleach, disinfectant, comet, laundry soap, dish soap
  • Full-size personal care products like shampoo, mouthwash, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hand soap and toilet paper

Founded in 1979, Community Resource Center (CRC) is a nonprofit organization serving residents throughout San Diego North County. CRC is dedicated to helping women and children, individuals, and families live safe, self-sufficient lives by providing critical assistance in the areas of domestic violence services, food programs, and emergency and transitional housing assistance.
