CRC Community Impact Awards: Nominations Open

Do you know someone making a meaningful impact in North Coast San Diego? We invite you to help us recognize the people who create change every day. The CRC Community Impact Awards honor individuals, groups and organizations who demonstrate exceptional compassion, commitment and action in supporting neighbors facing hunger, homelessness and domestic violence.

Since 1979, Community Resource Center has been walking alongside neighbors through moments of hardship and hope. For more than four decades, we’ve seen something powerful again and again: when one person shows up with compassion, it can change lives. The CRC Community Impact Awards will celebrate the individuals, youth, groups and organizations who make our communities stronger, safer and more connected.

Award Categories

Compassion in Action Award – Individual and Group/Organization
Recognizes an individual, group or organization demonstrating exceptional compassion and commitment through direct service, outreach, advocacy or innovative approaches that support neighbors experiencing hunger, homelessness or domestic violence.

Youth Changemaker Award
Honors a young leader (under age 21) who is making a meaningful difference in the lives of community members through leadership, service and action.

Who Can Be Nominated

Nominees must live, work, volunteer or be based in North Coast San Diego, including:
Carlsbad, Del Mar, Encinitas, Oceanside, Rancho Santa Fe, San Marcos, Solana Beach and Vista.

Before submitting, please obtain consent from the individual nominee or a representative of the nominated organization.

Nominations for the March 2026 CRC Community Impact Awards are now open and are due by January 25, 2026. Finalists will be notified February 9.
