Meet ILana, Girl Scout and Longtime CRC Supporter

Giving Girl Scout Cookies
ILana with Miranda Chavez, Director of CRC’s Integrative Services (right to left)

This August, ILana Roberts from Carmel Valley Girl Scout Troop 3042 brought 50 boxes of Girl Scout cookies purchased by her devoted customers to be given to the domestic violence survivors at Carol’s House, CRC’s emergency shelter. ILana has been a regular donor to the CRC since her first birthday. (Very awesome!)

She is a junior in high school and has been bringing donated Girl Scout cookies to Carol’s House since she started Girl Scouts when she was in kindergarten. To date her devoted customers have donated close to 300 boxes ! She hopes to reach 400 in the next 2 years!

Sign ILana made for Carol’s House

ILana told us, “Girl Scouts & Selling cookies has not only taught me how to run and grow a business but also how important it is to help others along the way. My loyal customers, through buying cookies for Carol’s House have helped me to deliver something sweet to make someone feel special and hopefully brighten their day.”

Seeing a young person passionately serving others makes us know that the future will be bright.
