Congratulations to CRC’s Volunteer of the Month, Cole DeFrain!
After returning home from college for the summer, Cole jumped right back into service — joining the Food Pantry team every Tuesday to lend a hand. His connection to CRC runs deep: he was first introduced to our work by his mom, Amie, a dedicated longtime volunteer.
Cole was nominated by our truck driver, Darris, who shared appreciation for Cole’s positive attitude and hard work.
When asked what brought him back, Cole said he enjoys reconnecting with the Tuesday crew and giving back to the community. During the school year, he now volunteers at his college’s campus food pantry — highlighting the impact of early service experiences and the lasting importance of youth involvement.
