Now a freshman in high school, Parker has been volunteering with Community Resource Center’s Holiday Baskets program since he was 11 years old. What started as a fun way to help out has grown into a meaningful connection to community, service and the real impact of giving back.

For Jack, Holiday Baskets has been part of his life since he was a kid who volunteered in the program. This year, as a recent college graduate, Jack returned to Community Resource Center’s Holiday Baskets program again, this time volunteering alongside his mom, who now serves as a Holiday Baskets Captain. It’s a full-circle moment that speaks to the long-term impact of service, and the way meaningful volunteer experiences grow with us over time.

With the support of our compassionate community, our 43rd Annual Holiday Baskets Program will help families celebrate the season while easing financial stress, allowing them to focus on essentials like rent and utilities.

Our 30th Anniversary Tea raises critical funds to support CRC on April 5, 2025.

Paulette Rosarie Khoury, one of our CRC Tea Co-chairs, shared: "The generosity of our community always amazes me. Every "yes" feels so personal—like helping a family put groceries on the table, giving someone warm clothes or providing safety for someone in need."

Our 42nd Annual Holiday Baskets included three programs: a "dignity of choice" Holiday Shopping Experience for CRC clients, a Holiday Backpacks Program for unsheltered individuals, and Senior Gifts to bring comfort and care to local seniors.
