Rental Assistance Application

Thank you for submitting your application. Please attach the following documents and verifications and a staff member will review the application and contact you within 5 business days.

• Copy of written lease with all adult household members
• Proof of ID for all household members
• Proof of income for all adult household members (paycheck stubs, benefit letters, unemployment (EDD) statement etc.)
• Proof of emergency related to COVID19 (lay-off notice, medical documentation, documentation of school/work closure etc.) where applicable
• 2 months of rents receipts or verification of paid rent
• Proof of rental delinquency

Completion of this application does not guarantee that you will receive funding but provides initial eligibility information.

City of Carlsbad COVID19 Rental Assistance Applicants: Please be aware that in order to decrease duplicative requests for assistance applicant information is shared with the funder (City of Carlsbad) and Interfaith Community Services, a separate sub-contractor with the City of Carlsbad.
