CRC News: Registration Opens for CRC’s 36th Annual Holiday Baskets

COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER INVITES HOUSEHOLDS IN NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN THEIR 36TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY BASKETS AT THE DEL MAR FAIRGROUNDS

Encinitas, CA, September 10, 2018—Community Resource Center is celebrating its 36th year of Holiday Baskets, the largest holiday distribution program of its kind, serving more than 6,000 people, including 3,000 children, in need during the holidays. Participants receive a free and dignified “shopping experience” at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and can select food, coats, blankets, toys, infant items, and more. This year’s event will be held December 14-16.

Registration to receive Holiday Baskets is now open: Individuals and families in need are encouraged to register now through October 31. To participate in Holiday Baskets, individuals and families must: live, work or go to school in the cities of San Marcos, Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach or Del Mar; and have an annual household income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income ($72,750 for a family of four).

Registration available at CRC’s office at 650 Second St. now through October 31: Mondays-Thursdays: 10am – 4:30pm; Fridays: 10am – 2pm; and Saturdays: September 29, 10am – 2pm and October 20, 10am – 2pm. Learn more at: crcncc.org/holiday-baskets-registration
