Carlsbad Resale Store: 1055 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad
Description of the tasks/activities to be performed:
- Pack items into crates
- Remove clothing from racks
- Toss unwanted items into dumpster
- Move items to new store, using conveyor belt, rolling bins and rolling racks
- In new store, as instructed:
- Place items onto shelves and display units
- Place clothing on racks
- Arrange displays and dust shelves to prepare for grand opening
5-7 volunteers needed for each shift.
Dates and Times:
- 12/27/19: 9 AM – 12:00 PM; 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- 12/28/19: 9 AM – 12:00 PM; 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- 12/29/19: 9 AM – 12:00 PM; 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- 12/30/19: 9 AM – 12:00 PM
Volunteer qualifications:
- Able to lift boxes and crates, up to 50 pounds
- Able to be on your feet for the entire shift period, walking, bending and lifting
- Ability to use a ladder
- Flexible, can-do attitude
- Not affected by dusty and dirty environment – the store will be in move-out mode and there will be a lot of airborne particles.
