GROUP OPPORTUNITIES
On-call Paint Team
We are looking for a group willing to be “on-call” to paint our transitional housing when families move out. This includes both domestic violence program participants as well as families that are in need of temporary housing until they can move into something permanent, as they work towards self-sufficiency. Because of the sensitive nature and location of the housing, we are looking for just one group if possible to be available when a need arises – this could be 1-4 times a year, with just one month notice.
Requirements: Signed Volunteer Waiver and Confidentiality Agreement, closed toed shoes and attention to detail. Ideally we are looking for an ongoing commitment and donation of paint supplies as well.
Clean out our storage shed
We are looking for a group to help organize our storage shed.
Date: August 28 from 9 am to 12 pm
Volunteer Spots: We need 3-5 volunteers willing to help move items, clean and organize the storage shed.
Requirements: 18 and older, with ability to lift 25-50 pounds preferred.
Clean out the Food Pantry
We are looking for a group of 6-7 volunteers (18 and older) who can come in once every other month to go through pantry items and toss out food items that have expired by our food life guidelines. The date and time is flexible.
Resale Stores Window Display
Create a window display at our Resale Stores. Great for art and business classes or retail groups looking for a team building opportunity!

Make Training Videos
Videographers needed to put together Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Food & Nutrition Center Training Videos. Amateurs and pros both welcomed!
Produce Good Program Lead Volunteer
The Produce Good Program is looking for a Lead Volunteer twice a month: Two Sundays a Month, must be on site at CRC from 3-4 pm to receive donated farmer’s market produce and load it into our walk in refrigerator.
Requirements: 21 and older, must have Food Handlers Card and be able to commit to 2 Sundays a month.
Experience in our Food and Nutrition Center preferred.

Friday Third Shift: Lead Needed!
Date and Times: Fridays at our Food and Nutrition Center 1:30-3:30
Volunteer Spots: 1 person willing to commit to 6-12 months minimum
Requirements: Food Handlers Card (free online course provided), ability to lead a small group of volunteers during the Friday afternoon shift at the Food and Nutrition Center, and manage the scheduling of volunteers with the support of the Volunteer Manager when needed.
Task: Assist the Friday second shift crew with serving participants, and then cleaning the FNC and preparing it for the following week: breaking down boxes, moving produce to the walk in fridge, mopping, etc.

- Volunteer in our Food and Nutrition Center (time commitment 4-6 month minimum)
