Congratulations to Kathy Urbanic, July Volunteer of the Month!
From volunteer colleagues Laura Tarabini, Gayle Patterson and David Hall:
Kathy has been a regular volunteer as a food sorter in the back for several years on Mondays.
Mondays can be quite busy, with drop offs from local farmer’s markets, and the two-day weekend donations from the stores. Kathy is quick and efficient in sorting what comes in, and gets things done quickly. On days where donations are overwhelming, she helps determine how to get things done in the most efficient way. And I think the rest of the Monday team would agree with me that she’s a delightful coworker!
Kathy also volunteers each year during the point-in-time homelessness count in January and for the CRC Holiday Baskets program.Thank you Kathy!
