On December 5, 2024, at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach, our community came together for a festive fundraiser in support of CRC. Guests enjoyed delicious food, drinks, fun games, and exciting raffle prizes, all while making a meaningful impact.
Thank you to our incredible community for making Jingle & Mingle a success! Together, we raised over $115,000 to support CRC’s programs, providing food, shelter, safety and hope to individuals and families in need.
One of the evening’s most inspiring moments came from Ruby, a CRC client, who shared her powerful story of resilience and healing. Ruby shared:
“When I first came to this remarkable community, I was in dire circumstances. Having just escaped an abusive marriage with only my two daughters and the clothes on our backs, we were in desperate need of help and support … I am immensely grateful to the Community Resource Center community for helping us overcome numerous challenges and build a new life for ourselves … As a mom of two daughters, it’s important to me that I break this pattern of being in an abusive relationship. I am healing and making sure the cycle stops here.”
Ruby’s story reminds us of why we gathered together on Thursday, to change lives and create brighter futures for those seeking support and healing.
