Please join the San Dieguito Interfaith Ministerial Association (SDIMA) for their “A Season for Non-Violence” kick-off event next Wednesday, February 1. Representatives from CRC’s Domestic Violence Prevention Program as well as other local community groups will be in attendance. This event is part of an awareness campaign focused on attaining peace through non-violent action.
The annual 64 day campaign, co-founded in 1998 by Dr. Arun Gandhi and The Association for Global New Thought (AGNT) is an awareness campaign spanning the January 30th and April 4th memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It focuses on the philosophy of attaining peace through non-violent action as demonstrated by Mohandas K. Gandhi, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and others.
