Together we can heal, prevent and end domestic violence
Learn from experts presenting the most current information on the danger and effects of interpersonal violence in our society and how to empower and guide survivors to safety and healing. This training provides the most cutting-edge information on domestic violence as presented by experts in the field. Topics include crisis intervention techniques, criminal justice responses to DV, cultural competency & diversity, trauma informed care, and professional boundaries in advocacy relationships.
Educate yourself on the dangers and effects of violence in our society. Learn to effectively assist, empower & guide victims to safety and discover what part YOU can play in healing and ending domestic violence.
Cost per person is $150 or $75 per person for students or groups of 3 or more from the same organization. Please pay by check to Community Resource Center, 650 2nd Street, Encinitas, CA 92024, before June 5th and mark your check DV TRAINING. All participants must be at least 18 years of age and must complete all online and virtual sessions to receive a certificate of completion.
This training meets the State of California Domestic Violence Counselors 40-hour Training Curriculum pursuant to California Evidence Code 1037.1.
