Rebecca Nussbaum first joined Community Resource Center in 2006 as an undergraduate intern in the Therapeutic Children’s Center. Now serving as Manager of Domestic Violence Programs, Rebecca has more than 9 years of experience in the Domestic Violence field. Rebecca seeks continual improvement for the effectiveness and efficiency of the Domestic Violence Program. In 2014, she incorporated a trauma-informed approach to service provision within the program to better serve domestic violence survivors.
Rebecca holds a regional leadership position with the San Diego Domestic Violence Council, serving on the SDDVC Executive Team. She is also active in working at the state level with participation and membership in the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence. As recognition of her community work and engagement in 2014, Rebecca was the proud recipient of the Champion of Hope award from the San Diego Domestic Violence Council.
Rebecca holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and a Masters of Arts in degree Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego.
