Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement

Community Resource Center (CRC) commits to building upon its core value of equity, deepening and maintaining a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace. A workplace where all employees, volunteers and clients feel valued and respected regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation or identity, education or disability.

In the San Diego County nonprofit sector, we are committed to pursuing an authentic leadership role by modeling diversity, equity and inclusion. We will do this through daily intentional governance, program, and business operations practices that advance diversity, equity and inclusion with our stakeholders, clients, partners and vendors.

The Community Resource Center affirms our commitment to creating futures free of injustice and violence to provide trauma-informed services that promote cultural equity. CRC is for:

In providing for these human needs, we know that communities of color are disproportionately affected by poverty, hunger, homelessness and domestic violence. We are compelled to clearly state that CRC is for:
