DESCRIPTION:The Homeless Court Pop-up Resource Fairs are available throughout San Diego County on a rotating basis to provide a one-stop-shop resource fair\, with the added ability to clear traditional legal barriers to those services on-site. HCP Pop-up Resource Fairs are walk up events that provide direct access to the Homeless Court Program\, State Services & Benefits\, and Community- Based Organizations. Participation in HCP typically requires a referral from an approved HCP Provider\, but no referral is required for this event. \nThank you to the San Diego Country District Attorney’s Office\, City of Carlsbad\, Homeless Court Program and other partners for coming together for this important resource for those experiencing homelessness in our community. DESCRIPTION:The National Association of Letter Carriers hosts their annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on the 2nd Saturday in May each year. This year\, on Saturday\, May 11\, letter carriers will collect your non-perishable food donations and deliver them back to the post offices. CRC will receive donations delivered to the Encinitas and Solana Beach post offices\, where CRC volunteers will sort and box them for our food pantry. \nStamp Out Hunger Food Drive is simple!\nJust leave a nonperishable food donation in a bag by your mailbox on Saturday\, May 11. DESCRIPTION:Please register here: https://bit.ly/CRC_Tours \nYour hour at CRC will include: \n\nA tour of our Food & Nutrition Center\, where over 350 households – seniors\, unsheltered individuals and struggling families – come each month for healthy food and nutrition services.\nInformation about CRC’s mission and programs to help our neighbors create pathways to healthy food\, stable homes and safe relationships.\nA chance to meet CRC key leadership\, staff and volunteers.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to learn more about CRC and our programs that provide help to those in our community who are experiencing hunger\, homelessness and hurt. \nAlready visited? Come again!\nIf you haven’t visited recently\, now is a good time to take another tour. We’ll share our strategic priorities for the next few years as well as information on our capital campaign to build a new campus.
